The topic of retreats has been on my mind a lot this year. I integrated them back into my life after a too-long hiatus and wrote a create-your-own personal retreat workbook. This resource is for those of us who have the idea that retreats are a luxury and are too expensive and time-consuming (even though we secretly might want to go on one!)
I’ve seen so many benefits as I’ve made retreats a priority but just in case you’re still not so sure, I made this infographic for you. Because infographics are just fun, right?
Enjoy!
p.s. Feel free to share this infographic if you’d like. 🙂
As I mentioned above, I wrote a workbook (which then became a paperback BOOK!) to help you create your own personal retreat that won’t cost you a lot of time or money. You’ll find that even taking a couple of hours here and there will do wonders for your creative soul. Inside this workbook, you’ll discover:
- What a creative retreat is, and how to make one that is tailored to your needs
- Ideas of what kinds of retreats you could potentially take and what supplies to bring
- Interviews of creative women just like you
- Encouragement to keep creating no matter what because your voice matters
- Prompts and exercises to get those creative juices going
- Plenty of room to journal and coloring pages too!
You can buy your copy of the book on Amazon by clicking here.
Hope you have a lovely {and creative} day!

Thanks so much, Melanie! 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful retreat–they’re so nice, aren’t they? 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Jennie, I found you through our connection on Instagram (hey – go figure!) Anyway, we share some pretty similar desires in blogging. I signed up for your newsletter and I’ve been poking around your blog doing some research (aka spying) on you tonight haha. I love your art, crafts, and stuff in general. Thanks for the work you do – gives me inspiration.
Much Love
Wow, thanks so much for your sweet comment, Kayla! I just hopped over to your site too and love it–so inspiring! 🙂 I love what you’re doing too. And I had to smile that you’re in the construction/real estate industry. I worked as an office mgr/admin in construction for a long time–it’s a unique world, that’s for sure. Hope you have a wonderful day, and thanks again for stopping by! 🙂
