Have you heard of She Reads Truth? I love this site and want to share it with you!
My aim for Wednesday’s posts is to give you some gift ideas–books and treats I’ve found around the web that I thought you might like. Today’s post looks a little different in terms of you can’t exactly package up an app or website and give it as a gift. But I truly believe that we need to be giving our own hearts the gift of God’s truth and well, if you pass the site along to a friend, it’s a gift, right?
The community on She Reads Truth is committed to the study and living out of Scripture, and they do it so beautifully, my breath is taken away every time I stop by their site. (It certainly helps that they use so many pictures of succulents. I love succulents. But I digress . . . )
What I really like about this site is you can participate one of two ways: by reading the selection of Scriptures for the day online and commenting or by purchasing one of their lovely journals to keep all of your musings in one beautiful place. The bound studies are more expensive than the average Bible study but they include 8x10s of prints and mini prints for your wallet (as well as some other treasures.) And did I mention they are gorgeous? I so want to get the Advent one. (saving my pennies!)
So maybe this post isn’t so far off from my typical Wednesday post after all because you could purchase one of these studies for a friend, right? They are currently going through 1 and 2 Peter and will offer studies on Hospitality, Thanksgiving, and Advent in the coming months. Go over to She Reads Truth to check them out.
