These carrot playdough favors from Homemade Interest are so adorable! These would make a great alternative to Easter candy. Kids love playing with playdough, and I’m sure the parents will thank you if you gave these out as favors at a springtime party. 🙂 I love that you could whip up a bunch of these for your kids and their friends and have time to spare.

I love this Little Chicks Craft from My Creative Days because even a very small child could make them. And they’re super cute! This would be a fun activity to do with the kids on Easter afternoon as a take-home craft.

Alyssa from Arts & Crackers created this beautiful painting of lilies using her kids’ hand prints! I am so going to try this with my daughter. I love how she added little touches to this art piece to make the hand prints really subtle. This would make a beautiful gift for someone. I know a couple of Nanas who would LOVE this.

This Easter Garden tutorial took my breath away. By using common items found in a garden, Christina from The Frugal Homemaker created a beautiful little garden featuring the empty tomb with her nieces. I’ve seen similar things like this at garden stores–mini houses with moss as the grass and little pebble pathways–and they are not cheap. This would be so pretty in the garden or patio.

These ladies are so creative, aren’t they? Be sure to visit their blogs for the complete tutorials for these projects. I know your kids will love making these crafts! If you’re looking for Easter projects that are more “grown-up”, here’s another post on Easter crafts and projects that are beautiful for the home. I especially love the painted “walnut bluebird eggs”!

Visit my Crafts page for more ideas for simple crafts and projects. I update it frequently so there are always fresh and fun ideas that you can easily make. Many of them use supplies that you already have in your house.

Have a lovely {and creative} day!
