Today I’m over at CreativeKKids sharing how to make a watercolor gift tag. Inspired by the watercolor flower barrette that I made my daughter for Easter, I decided to try sprucing up a plain gift tag and the results were so pretty. I love how you could use this simple craft as a base to create so many different things from barrettes to cards to gift bag decorations. Since wedding season is now upon us with the start of June, you can whip a watercolor gift tag up in an afternoon and save yourself the cost of buying those cute but incredibly expensive wedding gift tags.
Today is also the official start of our 30 Day Challenge! (This challenge is finished, BUT you can get access to it here. You’ll also receive all the early morning videos I made during the live version of our challenge. :))
We’re setting aside 20 minutes each day for the next 30 days to work on our creative projects. This simple idea has allowed me to finish so many projects in the last month (since I had to try it first myself before sharing the love!) I am so excited to see what kind of wonderfulness you’ll be making.
And to start off this week, here is some lovely inspiration:
- Baby food jars repurposed into lovely soy candles. I love the lids!
- Whimsical animal keychains.
- A tiny, magical treasure box.
- Super cute bibs.
- Instagram inspiration from Alisa Burke.
Hope you all have a lovely {and creative} day!
